That day was my birthday. We were returning from Agra and were returning to our homecity, Kota. Lying parallel to the railway routes are the Aravallis. These are the old fold mountains of our country India starting from Gujarat and ends at Delhi. An interesting feature of these mountains is that they lie parallel to the wind direction of the monsoon winds. It is because of the Aravallis that whole Rajasthan is not a desert.
